A Bit about Me

I was born in Illinois in the early eighties. I was premature and extremely small, but my loved ones quickly learned that I was mighty, determined and eager to experience life. I have lived in multiple states growing up, but Ohio is where I learned to accept my disability, Cerebral Palsy. I see it as a gift that allows me to help others by sharing my experiences. I have a BA in Film History from Wright State University and my Graduate degree in Community Counseling from University of Dayton. I currently consult and co-facilitate on DEI initiatives with nonprofit organizations, like NCCJ of Greater Dayton. I live with my husband and a bunch of sweet pets that keep me entertained when Iā€™m not enjoying film and pop culture in my spare time!

EmPAThY IS The Mission

My journey is grounded in promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion. I emphasize the importance of shared experiences and knowledge, ensuring that every voice is valued. This effort aims to foster empathy and understanding among youth and businesses alike.

Authenticity is key in my efforts. I encourage you to express your unique perspective, as it contributes to a richer narrative. By reflecting on your experiences, you can help distinguish the mission for change and resonate with a broader audience.
